Why not explore devon

Devon is one of the Uks nicest areas with miles and miles of countrysides and beches. A perfect romantic honeymoon destination within the Uk. You have on one hand the beaches where you can laze by and then you have the energetic romantic walks in miles of countryside http://www.ramblers.org.uk/walksfinder/

Coombe Cross Hotel, a traditional country hotel dating from the 1950’s where many admirable traditions are still important

From its elevated position on the edge of the historic town of Bovey Tracey, Coombe Cross has magnificent views of Dartmoor National Park and is ideally located to form a base for exploring the whole of South Devon and Eastern Cornwall.

Friendly and informal, Coombe Cross has for many years offered guests a restful and relaxed holiday amidst some of the most naturally beautiful surroundings in the British Isles. The hotel is south facing and set in its own mature gardens with the South Devon coastline just 12 miles away. You could not wish for a better location for a short break or relaxing holiday.

For peace and quiet, simply relax in the hotel gardens or explore the moors. Alternatively why not try out our modern indoor swimming pool and leisure complex. Relax in the sauna, top up your tan in the solarium, or just while away your time in the spa pool. For those more active, a fitness suite featuring a variety of exercise equipment is just the job to keep in trim.

All 22 bedrooms are comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and designated ‘non-smoking’. Each one has a bath and shower en-suite and is equipped with all the usual facilities including hospitality tray, colour television, trouser press and radio alarm. Many rooms are double bedded but there are a number of twins (some of which zip together to give very nice ‘kingsize’ beds) and a couple of single beds too.

A good number of the rooms have lovely views across the garden up to the moor and three or four rooms are situated at ground level which is well suited to those who struggle with stairs.

John and Ann Till from petersfield where desperate to get away on a honeymoon, but like most people couldnt afford their dream drip to the usa.

Selected stores in the uk, give green points, for recycled materials (mainly metal) so john and ann went round collecting rubbish from their local area, every single night to earn enough points to go on their trip. Their honeymoon holiday was finally theirs after just 3 months of collecting rubbish

Going on a honeymoon is quite expensive, especially if you choose an exotic destination. I thought I would give some tips to help you make your perfect honeymoon but on a tight budget.

1) Booking your hotel and flight seperatly can save you money.
e.g book your hotel with 1hotelsearch.co.ukand then book your flights with a low cost carrier

2) Remeber to book with a credit card, so if the company goes bust, you dont loose your honeymoon holiday look at these deals

3) If you book with a package holiday company, wait till the last minute there are always amazing deals availablelook at these deals

4) If you are not flexible, be flexible enough tha you dont go on school holidays, your honeymoon taken in schoolholidays a) will be an over crowded resort b) your holiday will be about 30% more expensive

5) Book a self catering honeymoon holiday, you will save a few quid, that way you dont have to get up by 10am to be in the dinning room to finish your breakfast

6) Stay local, Why not just (if you live in england) go to Scotland and stay in a 3star hotel. You can pick up a cheap hotel in scotland from only about £30 a night and who cares that it doesnt have a Jacuzi, your honeymoon will be as exciting as you want it (if you dont end up arguing)

Feel free to add any honeymoon suggestions. all suggestions gladly welcom
